Working with an aboriginal community and a private sector partner, Atmacinta helped to:

Evaluate potential demand to establish a cellular service provider to serve northern communities

Develop the business model to create and operate a cellular service provider in the north

Access funding to validate the technology to serve the north

Create Canada’s first cellular service company co-owned by an aboriginal partner, including all negotiations related thereto with the private sector partner and inter-carrier relations

Promote the company and aid in its expansion from serving 1 to 11 communities
