Protection of 50% of Northern Quebec
Co-develop new protected areas, with multiple stakeholders and the active involvement of the First Nation we support and represent, to protect 50% of Northern Quebec by 2035.

As of 2020, 20% of the territory north of the 55th parallel has been protected, and ongoing efforts are in progress to reach the 50% protection target by 2035.
Results
Protection of additional territories, totalling 29,875 km2, contributing to the attainment of the 20% protection milestone.
